Early Voting in Texas Begins Today

Polling Station

Today, October 22nd, marks the first day of early voting for the November 6, 2012 elections. Several clients have already told us that they’ve been to the polls. Early voting can save you the hassle of waiting in long lines on Election Day, eliminating the stress that often comes along with it and ensuring that you get your vote in the event of unforeseen circumstances that may come up on that day.

What do you need to have on hand before going to the polls?

Make sure you bring a form of personal identification such as your voter registration card, driver’s license, passport, etc. You don’tnecessarily need to bring your voter registration card with you, but you doneed to be registered to vote.

We want to make sure that our insurance clients and those in the Texas communities that we serve know where they can vote early. Early voting locations are as follows for several of the counties:

Fort Bend

Harris

Tarrant

Denton

Collin

Dallas

Save yourself the trouble of running out of time before Election Day and vote early!
